Junior Toolmaker

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Toolmaker to work within our busy & growing dedicated toolroom, manufacturing and assembling high precision, one-off tools for use on our non-conventional machining processes.  

Working Pattern:

This position will be working on the afternoon shift as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday: 2:00pm -10:00pm
  • Friday: 1:00pm – 8:30pm

Experience / Knowledge Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience of:

  • Conventional manual machining including surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, jig boring, milling and turning
  • Sub assembly & bench fitting
  • Experience of CNC machining will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 2 years City & Guilds (or equivalent) apprenticeship in an engineering discipline
